Discovery Engagement Brief & Agreement
What is Discovery?
Discovery is a series of consultative meetings where we help you discover and gain clarity on the key aspects of your website or digital marketing project to develop the scope, schedule, budget, and final proposal.
Why Discovery?
Peak Performance Digital starts all our client relationships with the Discovery process because it reveals the true needs of your business. Without it, we can’t put together a proposal for you because there isn’t enough information. This process is designed to answer questions like:
- What products and services does your business offer?
- Who is your ideal client, and what are their motivations?
- How will your website fit into your sales process?
- How important is SEO?
- What forms are needed?
- What should the content be?
- How should content be structured and presented?
- What platform should be used?
- What types of integrations should be used?
- What types of graphics. images or other media do you need?
- Etc…
We first must determine how to position your business and who the messages are being crafted for.
Outcome of the Discovery Process:
At the end of the Discovery process, we have a website strategy, project plan, and proposal to execute your project. Depending on your needs, we may utilize tools and deliverables such as:
- Ideal Customer Avatar
- Competitive Analysis
- 1-page business profile (a.k.a. Lean Canvas)
- Journey Map
- Before & After Grid
- Engagement Workflow
These tools and deliverables are designed to be used for tactical execution of the strategy and enable consistency, ease, and speed for the project team.
Investment $1,500:
The Discovery process typically takes 4 – 5 hours spread over a series of online meetings, plus follow-up and off-line work. Your strategy, project plan, and proposal are delivered in a subsequent meeting. These documents are yours to own, to implement in-house, or to shop around to other agencies.
Many agencies bundle this investment into the cost of the overall project; however, we have found it best to keep the project definition separate from the project execution in order to give you an accurate proposal with few or no changes mid-project.
Getting Started:
Next Steps to Begin Project Work
Quoted fees are valid for 14 days after the agreement send date. To proceed with Discovery, the next steps will be to:
- Accept the proposal as-is by electronically signing this agreement or discuss desired changes with Peak Performance Digital
- Submit payment of the Discovery project fee.
- Agree on a meeting time & location for initial meeting.
Changes to project scope defined as part of this process can be requested at any time, but such changes may be subject to additional billing.
Digital Marketing Discovery Agreement
We pride ourselves on outstanding work, honesty, and integrity. We will do our best to ensure your project receives the utmost attention and consideration to deliver you the best customer service experience and highest quality deliverables.
Prices
The pricing in the proposal is valid for 2 weeks (14 days) from the date on the first page. After 2 weeks, the proposal and pricing expire and will need to be re-quoted to initiate the project. All prices are subject to change. Fees may vary depending on the extent of the work put into a project.
This project proposal serves as a written estimate. We make every effort to ensure that all known tasks are accounted for, however if additional items, requests or changes arise during the course of the project, those additional items will be discussed with the client and added to the project at an additional charge.
Invoices
Payment is due upon receipt of invoice. You may not withhold any amounts due and we reserve the right to cease work without prejudice if amounts are not paid when due.
Payment
Payment is due prior to services being rendered. Installment payments are available upon request.
Refunds
Due to the nature of the web and the time involved, refunds are not given for any reason. Peak Performance Digital reserves the right to refuse service to any company or individual at our discretion.
Terms & Conditions
This website proposal incorporates the website proposal terms and conditions provided online at https://peakperformancedigital.com/proposal-terms-conditions and form a binding part of this agreement. You acknowledge you read, understood, and agree to the terms and conditions.
Entire Agreement
This document together with any attachments, as well as any new, different, or additional terms, conditions or policies which we may establish from time to time, and any agreement that we are currently bound by or will be bound by in the future, constitutes the complete and exclusive agreement between you and us concerning your engagement of us on this project, and supersede and govern all prior written and verbal communications.
Signature
By signing this document, you represent to us that you are a duly authorized representative of your organization and upon its behalf agree to be legally bound by its terms and conditions. You hereby accept and authorize the commencement and payment for the project described above.
